So, is the intent to restrict the VHF contests to VHF only and do away
with the UHF contest?
Let's see, BPL threatens to eat at HF bandwidth and the ARRL is open to
suggestions to do away with the operating events that generate the most
activity for UHF, what is the intention? Crowd the whole amateur
population into 2 or 3 bands?

Subject: [VHFcontesting] Still time for comments on rules changes
I am advised by a senior member of the ARRL staff, that there is still
time for comment and discussion.
Also, that changes will not be decided on any time soon. It is not a
done deal....
One question to you all - what does "VHF QSO Party", the name of the
June and Sept. contests, imply?
What does "VHF Sweepstakes" imply?
