Hi Bill,
It's a natural evolution.  It will simply take you time to figure out how to
band-hop and then return to 2 meters and get noticed again.  If it was easy,
then everyone would "do it".  Give yourself time to hone the skills and you will
be rewarded with success in the future.  Promise.
