Paypal has sent batch messages to all it's users stating that they will not
keep your account open with just a credit card info but they want personal
bank information.
They said this is for "Fraud protection" but most users are not giving that
info (including me) as that would remove the credit card protection of $50
for unauthorized use of the credit card and should it happen Paypal would be
chargeback that info.
With the bank info they could withdraw the monies and you would have to
fight hard to get it back.
I know, I've spoken to them about this.
