Hey Mike,

Yea, eham.net is a pretty good place.  I think I went there to review the
IC910....and thats what started me asking allot of questions of others,
concluding that maybe its not the best choice.

I'm not up on the TM-255A, I'll have to go check it out.

I have a Kenwood TM-255A 2-meter all-mode and I think it's great.  I got
it in near-mint condition on eBay for 300 bucks.  I use a TenTec 1209
transverter (again via eBay) to get on 6-meters.  It's a nice combo.

If you're shopping, be sure to look at the reviews at eham.net.  I always
do this before buying anything radio related and you get a diversity of
opinions.
