I worked for about an hour and rounded up 5 contacts...all pretty good DX from
FN42...begging the question, "Where was the activity from FN42?"
2 - FN20
2 - FN31
1 - FM19
And all directly on a SSE path down the coast...gotta swing the beam
more...also need more power so I can call CQ and get replies from off the side.
All this with a bare TS-790, home brew K1FO type beam at 90 Ft.
It seems that 432 works about as well as 144 for the path down the coast. I
can get into SNJ from southern NH just about any time on either band.
