I too am having a considerable time elimating Spark Plug noise.

Local mechanic changed out aging wires with supposedly noise
suppresion wires and split fire plugs which rendered all radio
in the vehicle useless. All attempts to get him to return my ROVER
vehicle to it's previous quiet state have met strong resistance.

I am now ready to just do it myself and need the info on those
noise suppresion wires mentioned in earlier posts.

I have aquired 2 new bands - 222 and 1296, and would really
like to try them out before Aug UHF contest gets here! Any help
would be appreciated.

Thanks!
