I think most people that can use CW agrees that CW is the best mode of
operation, the question is how do we get more contesters to start using CW in
the contest?
I would like to suggest a CW, SSB and MIXED catagory modification made to the
rules. 2 points for CW and 1 point for SSB, just like the ten meter contest.
That would at least allow the the mixed mode stations to work stations twice
to fill in those long void times that we go with out a contact. All cw qso's
would need to take place in the cw portion of the band to prevent a quick
change to both modes on the same frequency.
