I have done homemade brackets that worked similar to the photo. Two
brackets a foot or so apart. Each bracket made out of two pieces of 1-1/2"
angle iron, 6" on one, 12" on the other. Two bolts clamp the angle iron to
the post and the tubing is held by u-bolts to the 12" extension on each
set. Sorry no photo, it was a long time ago.
You have me thinking, HI HI. I have a 40' self supporting 6x6 tilt-over
mast. A 20' aluminum tube clamped on there would almost give me a 80m
quarter wave :-)
