Home Depot sells one made my Milwaukee for both the SDS-Plus and SDS-Max.
Depending on your soil type and condition, it is a life-saver. As I have told
others, here in SW Louisiana, I get down about three feet and stop with a fence
pounder. The hammer drill keeps going, just works a little harder until it gets
through that layer. It really makes installing ground rods fun.
The hammer drill is one of “those” tools that you start looking for things to
do with it. It does fairly large holes incredibly well!
