        Thanks for the suggestions Art. I'm starting to think I'm behind the
times when it comes to antennas.

I also think this thread has run its course. Thanks to all who replied
to my post.

The fact that the TH6 has a 24 ft boom is great. The fact that it uses
traps, in my opinion is not so great. My last two multi and beams have
been trapless. Unlimited power with the balun being the Limiting
factor. If I had a 24 ft boom and 6 elements, I’d junk the traps and
add 6 more thin full sized elements to have better performing beam .
Another option would be to copy the JK Tri M. Multi element tribander
with 3 simultaneously driven elements. No traps. The antenna I use is
an expanded version of F12 C3 called an XR5. It’s 5 bands , 10 thin
full sized elements, no traps on the 18 ft boom. Only 2 elements per
band but works well. JK has a newer improved version. This just a few
