AFAIK these are long obsolete. I have a series 45, 48-foot version, which is
actually 44' above the base. You can sort of see it in the opening photo of my
QRZ page. Frankly, it scares the hell out of me to crank this thing over. I'm
considering an electric winch so I can move out of the field of a broken cable.
The 48 and 58 foot versions are rated for a load of 190 pounds at the apex,
The 25 series versions are rated at 160 pounds at the apex in the 48' and 58'
versions and 115 pounds in the 68' version.
While these sound good in theory (working at ground level) in practice if you
have a beam with a 20' boom, the top of the tower is going to be at least 10'
above ground when folded over. With my small Optibeam I can remove part of the
boom and elements and get the rotor closer to ground level for maintenance.
Running cables still requires climbing or some high altitude trickery. I'll be
83 in three weeks, so climbing above the hinge is no longer in my repertoire.

Hello all,
Rohn 25 used to have an option to tip over the tower NOT AT THE BASE but say 5
or 19 ft up by way of a hinged mount and a cantilever ...I am searching for
info on these (ANY ) And if the hazer option exists any longer..
