However, as best I can tell the Phantom 3 doesn't have the same LED
landing light, and I can't find where Hanatora offers a similar payload
release mechanism for a Phantom 3. I believe that Sky Hook does, but it
is probably the type that uses a separate radio link and they cost
closer to $200.

I own a DJI Phantom 3 but never tried to drop a line with it. What type of
release mechanism can you recommend?
