Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
I managed to service and rebuild my 1979 T2X without too much trouble (new
balls and low-temp, MN-rated grease), but I have several Alliance HD-73s
waiting for some TLC. Any sources for service info/procedures?
Thanks,
Kirk, NT0Z

My book, "Stealth Amateur Radio," is now available from www.stealthamateur.com
and on the Amazon Kindle (soon)

Lots of folks were looking for Hy-Gain repair info. I also repair Spid RAK
rotators, and there is basically nothing out there to guide you along. So I
added a new web page with all that info and a RAK procedure that may be
helpful. I also repaired a Rotor Doctor RD-1800 once (plus giving last rites to
a destroyed one) but since there are so few out there I’m not going to bother
to document that...
