I use a 1 kW Harris SSPA on 6m. The antenna is a 25-30 year old 5-elem cushcraft. 99% of the time I use it for meteor scatter and used it when FSK441 30-sec frames were common. Feedline is 7/8" heliax so maybe 800W at the antenna. Never noticed any changes to the SWR after decades of use. 73

I have just bought a small Cushcraft 3-element 6-meter yagi.? Only small
fly in the ointment is that it is *only* rated at 1 KW.? It looks to me
