considered the choice for critical applications. Things like keeping the ocean

Also a significant number of the so called "stainless" clamps offered are not
in fact that high in quality. Take a magnet along when buying them and check
especially the screw. While technically SS they are all too often of very low
quality material and will deteriorate quickly. Any perforated design among the
worm gear clamps is generally a poor choice if looking for high clamp pressure.
