It all depends on how you post to groups.io. Do you receive posts from an email 
client and reply or do you use the groups.io web site to reply?73,Gary K9GS

several.  I hit reply, I see text, I arrange it to make sense, write my 
response, then send, and things go through as intended.I can only guess people 
are hitting reply, deleting everything, responding, then sending.  If there's a 
hidden setting in .io that does this, I'm not aware of
