Are there other AM properties in your area? When you receive, is it with any kind of preamp on an unturned antenna or something like a coax fed dipole straight to your receiver or transceiver? I had grunge at the top of 160 meters here that turned out to be two AMs, one on 1160 and the other on 820, mixing in a preamp that did not have any kind of LC network ahead of it, just a random length of wire.
