I don't know why any acid in caulk would hurt the Times Microwave jacket or PVC conduit. I have been using GE Silicone II on coax for many many years without issues.

Greetings to the group.

I just finished burying and pulling a lot of LMR-600-DB and where that come to ground I pulled them through a chase to protect them from the almighty weed whacker and such. The chase is gray PVC and I wanted to apply a bulk seal the ends to block ingress and accumulation or rain water or smaller critters looking to nest.

Is there a preferred or safe sealant to close these off with?
I assume some kind of caulk would work, but some are silicone based and some of those have acids (so I'm told).

Any suggestions, guidance, or things not to do-use would be appreciated.

Thanks & 73's Mike K9MK/5
