This strongly suggests that Buddy's station lacked proper bonding. That coax should, for example, have been bonded to all other coaxes at the entry point to his station, from there to a robust system of ground rods, all bonded to power, CATV, telco, and all other grounds in his home. Every chassis in his station should have been bonded together and to that combination of grounds. If that had been done, it seems unlikely that a bunch of beads on the power amp output would have solved a problem (or that the problem would have even existed).

monoband  amp.
