Hello,
My club uses a connector that I'm not familiar with. It's like an N-type
connector, but uses a bayonet outer shell, like a BNC connector. I've
posted some pictures at
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/rxve1baqohdyb74/AAAVMTdUuikeNz06oT2wTxLOa?dl=0
Can anyone tell me what this connector is called, so I can look them up?
Is it a rare connector? I was told that it's a military standard. Are
they still available? From who, if it's rare?

It's probably a "C" connector - without dimensions or a scale in the
picture, it's hard to tell. Weatherproof, bayonet, good to 11GHz like an N.

about $40 each from Pasternack, $114 for Amphenol from Mouser.
There's also a 75 ohm BNC - but the Bayonet part is exactly the same
size as a 50 ohm BNC.
The other possibilities are various high voltage BNC - some are larger
in diameter, but a distinguishing feature is that the "nose" is longer
to make the creepage distance between the connector longer.
[ someone probably got a "good deal" on surplus for those]
