Dave,
Not that a big concrete base is needed if you are going to guy the tower, but
if you are digging a big hole and pouring concrete I would put another 25 feet
of 25G in concrete, bracketed to the building absolutely as high as possible,
and use that as a gin pole to pull your tower up. Would have a rope attached
at the top of that going over the building to a tree or other sturdy attachment
when you are raising or lowering it.
At first thought of pulling the wall of the building down and how that might be
prevented, it's probably time to think about how to go higher, forget about
calculations which don't yet include two coaxes, rotator cable or two guy
bracket assemblies, and do something you know will work. I don't think it is a
good idea to even entertain the idea of pulling that tower up from the 10 foot
level with attachment to a 2x4 wall.
