BTW, don't forget any time you need a synchro (Unless you are actually
using it as a selsyn - aka driving the motor half as a motor), you can use
a Resolver and a Scott-T transformer

Synchro - 3 phases - 120 degs out, in a Y configuration
Resolver - Quadrature output (aka SIN and COS) - 4 wires
