I have a crossed dipole (with separate feed lines) at the top of a
rickety lightweight support..
Can I use the same stack of #31 cores for choking both? That is, wind both coaxes through the cores for the requisite number of turns. If the cores were lossless this would make a transformer, so shield currents on one would be transferred to the other. But #31 is pretty lossy at HF, so maybe it would work? The goal is to minimize mass up high.. _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ TowerTalk mailing list TowerTalk@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk |
