Basically it is same as a fibre boat.

First, Epoxy base coat, 2 componenets

Second, polyurethane enamel in two componenets

Asunto: [TowerTalk] fiberglass mast question

I am making plans for a 16' mast that will hold dual band and GMRS
antennas (Comet GP-3 and Tram). I have a stack of Army surplus
fiberglass mast sections that I'd like to use for the project. Here's
my question: Given their tendency to flake and susceptibility to UV
damage, what's the best way to prep them to improve their longevity?

I don't need the mast to last forever but ten years should would be nice. ;)

thanks and 73 de bill K7WXW
