No surprise. In a properly designed bolt/nut situation, the bolt is supposed to
fail first :-)
Hopefully they broke when the tower was vertical and the op failed to turn off
the motor.

not bulletproof.
In any event, you have to have space to lay down the full length
of the tower. That doesn't work on a lot of city lots.
