Joe,
A couple of years ago, I built 4 Moxon's for 40, two for me and two for
a buddy (actually, he help quite a bit) and could not be happier
The boom is 21 1/2 feet as I recall and I know the elements are short,
but don't remember their actual length.
I went with the Moxon design because of the f/b ratio and the
bandwidth. Bottom of the band is 1.4:1 and the top is 1.3:1 and flat a
7150. Gain is typical of any 2 element antenna at 6 or 7 db, but the
f/b is about 30 db instead of 12 db, or so, with the standard 2 element
design.
i do not know of any commercially available, but many have been made
using 2 element Cushcraft antennas. Lots of info on the web.
I could not be happier with it.

I've always dreamed of having some directivity on 40 meters. I've heard several
references to a 'shorty 40', but when I look on the web all I find is an old
Moseley design. I don't want to re-ignite the Moseley wars, but I would be
happy if someone could point me at an a 40 meter beam that might be able to fit
on a city lot.
Thanks and 73,
