Absolutely!
US Tower have never been happy in the Ham Market. They tried several
years ago to discourage people where is snows from buying by adding a
"snow loading" disclaimer.
It's supply and demand. The best way to cutoff demand for one of your
products that is either too expensive to build, or in a market you don't
want to support any longer, is to crank up (sorry) the price.
Good riddance.

HANDSOMELY! They'll claim extenuating circumstances like regulations
and some other BS .... they already have mucho disclaimers etc and
I'm sure protection was already well baked in ...
I recently had bevel gears, a set, that I've been buying for over a
decade in quantity go up in one year 260%! They obviously feel it’s a
hassle and not worth the effort unless they're paid ransom.

Subject: [TowerTalk] US Tower price increase
Just happened to be browsing the HRO website yesterday, and noticed
that the pricing on all US Tower models tripled overnight!
For example, the HDX-589MDPL was $13,000 last month. As of yesterday
the price is now just under $32,000! Same dramatic increase across
the product line.
Is anyone privy as to what warranted the dramatic price increase in
what seems like overnight?
I don't believe the raw materials or labor rate skyrocketed that quickly.
