Exactly right. Noise is picked up by our ANTENNAS, not on wiring inside
our shacks. A shack inside a screen room would be a total waste of a lot
of money.
As others have noted, what matters is proper BONDING both inside the
shack and throughout your home, http://k9yc.com/GroundingAndAudio.pdf
and chasing down and killing noise sources that your antennas hear.

Unless you're planning to have all your antennas inside the screen

Hello All
I have an opportunity to do some extra work on my new ham room that
will be
in a large cement floor shop building well away from my home and
neighbors.
I am wondering if anyone has gone to the effort of screening the
walls and
floors for noise reduction.
I have a room that I believe will be quiet, but I want to do the very
best
job possible as long as I am at it.
Ideas. please?
