I was told I need a 50 ton to reach the 148’ height (above it – not side
sticking it as they first suggested) ... and when I went to reserve it they
said they’d give me a 70 ton at the price of the 50 and it can do 200’! So it
might be a non-issue as they might be able to lift and boom out at the same
time. But I want to be prepared. I called and again and asked them to come out
and inspect it BEFORE next Friday – they said they’d do that on Monday.

Jeff,
It will depend on the size of the crane as to how close it has to be to the
lift point and the tower base you are going to put it on.
Our 100'er had to be close to the tower base to pick the 70' of rohn 45.
