[TowerTalk] Grounds, 'remote' towers, 'house' power, system

I have seen the results of lightning on a glass block wall, 4.5" hole 
thru the wall.
A stone foundation wall of a barn laying on the ground.

My battery charger transformer vaporized.

Laptop sound system destroyed from having a closed  loop in the ground
system.

RV 3.4 kw generator beyond repair.

I disconnect when not in use.

I camp in the Gila National Forest during monsoon storms
for the lightning shows, quite spectacular.
