Greetings, I have an option to put up 80m and/or 160m vertical antennas using Rohn 25 tower, possibly building out the 80m into a 4 square. On 80m, are there any advantages or disadvantages using towers sections for the full height, or would say ~3 sections topped off with ~30' +/- tapered aluminum tubing to top it off work better? The other question I had was are there novel ways to provide an insulated base with Rohn 25? Thanks in advance. 73's Mike K9MK/5 _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ TowerTalk mailing list TowerTalk@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk |
