Do you have access to locking pliers often called "Vice Grips?" IF yes,
then clamp onto the cable a ways from the turnbuckle. Now use a block
and tackle or other means to pull the pliers toward the turn buckle,
taking out most of the slack in the guy cable. Don't over do it. After
doing this to all the guys, carefully tension the turnbuckles, Finally:
do not forget to use a piece of wire to "safe" the turnbuckles so they
stay the way the set them and can't turn.
Hope this helps,

Hi,
I have my tower base already installed.
It is time to guy wires.
I have 1/4" EHS guy wires and clamps (3 clamps per connection). How to install
the guy wires without any tool ???...pulling only by hand and then tensioning with
turnbuckle.
Any tips are welcome.
Thanks,
