I like RG-142 mil-spec. It has Teflon insulation with two braided outer
shields, which is good for jumper from VHF/UHF repeater to duplexer. It was
hard for me to find a supply. I lucked out at the last Ham-Com in Irving,
Texas, where I found a seller with about 50 feet that he did not need.
I also have a few jumpers that are also Teflon, but with single braided
shield. I cannot locate them now as the shack is currently being remodeled
and station components are packed away in several boxes.

Subject: [TowerTalk] [WARNING: A/V UNSCANNABLE]Teflon 50-ohm coax
A few years ago at Dayton, I bought a 3-foot, 50-ohm jumper with a couple of
PL-259s on it. It is made of wonderfully supple Teflon coated cable about
the diameter of RG-8X. Since then, I have tried without success to identify
the cable and get some more.
Can anyone tell me the RG number of the Teflon cable I'm looking for?
