[TowerTalk] Lightning strikes

A few years ago, my grandson and I parked on a hilltop just south of Truth or 
Consequences NM.  A large row of thunderstorms rolled across the desert below.  
The show was great with many strikes hitting the desert floor.  Strangely, not 
a single strike was observed to any of the microwave towers in the area.  I am 
thinking these towers exceed 500 feet in height.
