How about splitting a suitable sized conduit elbow and clamping it
somehow to the sidearm? That would hold it to the form of the conduit
(say, 2-1/2 inch conduit Carlon PVC type). Pretty stout stuff in that
size. I'd say the radius for that size is likely 10 inches or so, maybe
more...Could use a Kellem (Japanese finger cuff) hanger for a cable
support hanger.
