Folks, the way to add insulators to existing guy wires is really quite
simple...you need a"chicago grip" and a come-along...these tools allow
the guy to be cut while still maintaining wire tension. There is no
need to add temporary guy wires. These tools are used daily in the power
line and commercial tower industry.
