Patrick,
I'm sure of the physical measurements and what the documentation says
(still have the originals). This still leaves a
manufacturing/manufacturer mistake, no matter how it's diced. Not sure
of who did what or how. Am sure of what I see. I can (and did) take
photos of such things in order to preserve the evidence.
At this point, making it known that M2 antennas "quality assurance
program" isn't so quality oriented is all I can do. Don't expect
anything based on their history.
When the antenna fails (the driven elements and CP RF switch aren't
that waterproof, contrary to the marketing hype.) it will be replaced
by something other than M2. There are various European vendors. Their
drawbacks are big $$$ in terms of taxes and shipping is out of sight.
