When you can vary the element lengths, fixed spacing issues are not a
big deal. Are single band antennas going to beat it. Probably. Even
in a model single band antenna the sweet spot is one place. Right?

A StepIR IS NOT the end all of antennas. Just because you have one
and paid LOTS of money for it doesn't make it the best antenna in
