I had a Peet Bros. Unit and it was fine. I had issues with the physical wiring
(critters) and do went to a Davis wireless unit.
Be advised that the wireless units use a backup battery that needs periodic
replacement. That said, mine has never had any issues at all on my tower and I
shunt feed it for 160 m at 1.5 kW. It's about 15 ft below my other antennas --
I've never heard it and it isn't bothered by me.
