I've been out of the loop the past few years and my ancient tri-bander has
bought the farm. I'd like to replace it with
a three element home made 20 meter yagi for which I have a candidate 18 foot
boom. My old ARRL handbook indicates
element spacing in the neighborhood of 0.2 wavelengths is a good compromise.
I realize we are in an era of computer
optimization and I'm open for suggestions on how to proceed with the
project.
