The Hy-Gain 205CA has a 34 foot boom and it is an old design. I am sure that
it works fine however you could throw away one of the elements and still
have the same gain. In fact you can build a more modern direct feed 50 ohm
OWA 4el 20m yagi on a similar boom length.

I did these optimizations about 15 years ago and both, if I recall correctly
require boom extensions and a Phyllistran support for the boom to the mast
to reduce the boom droop. I can't say that the work to do this was worth
.5db of gain improvement.
