Are you sure, Tommy? Yaesu in CA used to repair or replace them, and gave excellent tech support. Been a while though.

My vote goes for the Yaesu. I just replaced a T2X with the SDX and it is the 
bomb. I have used T2Xs for many years but feel the Yaesu is better. OTOH, if 
repair is needed, the Yaesu is junk as nobody stateside does them. Good luck.

Hi all,

I am replacing my old broken Yaesu 2800sdx rotor.  Looking at either a Yaesu
2800DXA or a Hygain T2XDX.

I have a cushcraft 2el 40 and a Bencher Skyhawk tribander on the tower.

Anyone have thoughts/experience on either of these rotors.
