My local friend K3TW likes to use a center feed dipole for 160/80/40 fed with
open wire line and a tuner in the shack. If 254 feet it will have 2 lobes on
160, 4 lobes 0n 80 and 8 lobes on 40. His is at 60 feet. With horizontal you
will get 5-6db ground gain which helps.
