Sounds like the problem is in the rear driven element. Being longer than the
front, it's resonance should be lower. Most common problem with the M2 version
is water in the capacitors. Did it rain heavily lately, perhaps with high
winds? I suggest you open up the traps and look for water or corrosion in the
rear driven. Contact me offline or on the KTAntennas yahoo group for more
details on increasing water tightness of the caps.
