Hi Fred,
I use Rick N6RK's drill adapter to drive the Fulton winches
on my UST TX-472. I drive it with a Milwaukee
"Super Hawg" drill (400rpm/13.5A). If I don't stop, it takes
only a few seconds to raise/lower it or tilt it up/down.
The thing is a MONSTER. It's a factory-refurbished unit
that I found on eBay. There are always several listed.
A plus is, I can still use the manual winch, if necessary.
Another plus is, I can drill VERY LARGE holes in just about
ANYTHING.

Any one with experience replacing their Fulton
winch with an electronic winch? Any
recommendations appreciated.
I changed to a worm drive, but it is even harder
to turn. Too stiff for a drill attachment.
