The cost of engineering calculations acceptable to my planning authority for
a one-off "adapter plate" might be high. Maybe not. But the numbers
provided by the tower manufacturer wouldn't apply unless you used the base
designed for that tower.
Maybe you don't need those calculations for your specific situation. But I
would.
It's another component in a critical place.
