Probably can be made to work.  You might check out how much info is
available on the Force 12 6BA.  Something similar is going on there; they
put a 2 element 40m Yagi antenna (with its own feedline) on the outside of
a multi-band Yagi with its feedline.  Mosely may have a similar model.
