That is the article I used to make my judgement.
The reason that "magnetism matters": It is the only method at my
disposal to determine real SS from fake. I simply distrust anything
made in China as being genuine.
So it is the quandry QC guys face: "What is the consequence of accepting
a bad product vs rejecting a good product"
For winch cable, I'd rather err on the reject side.
