As late as spring of 2012 they were taking orders for 1000 ft rolls. Cost
had gone up considerably since the early 2000s. If I remember correctly
the cost was about $1/ft for 5/16 stock....plus ship.
The problem I encountered was the availability of the special guy grips
from PLP. PLP sells a minimum order of $500, but they really put the screws
to you if you are not a dealer. I got them at a dealer price since I knew
someone who gets a good price as a dealer. Even still, they ran over $10
back then.
