Hello,
I am interested in whether my specification for masting is appropriate. I have
a EME H-Frame that I need to put up 20' from egress in a sleeved tubing system.
Total inner tube length is 30', 18' of which is inside an additional outer
tube. A 10m/6m duobander is at the point where the inner tube leaves the outer,
18' up from base or 8' from roof egress. Then, the H-frame 12' above that. I
have been advised to use chrome moly for the inner, 2" OD. There are two wall
thicknesses, .12 and .25. The .25 is twice the price, but within budget if
advised. Of course, the real question is whether the design will sustain winds
up to 90 mph at all. Diagram is attached in two forms, .png and .ppt.

Thank you,
Andy, K2OP
